This medal is a symbol of the first communion.
French work by the engraver Firmin-Pierre Lasserre. Firmin Pierre Lasserre, sculptor (1870-1943). Initially a student of Aimé Millet (1819-1891), then of Albert Bréauté (1853-1939). He won several bronze medals in 1921, silver in 1923, and then gold in 1927 at the Salon des Artistes Français.
