Important religious medal depicting a chalice and the Holy Host in vermeil (gold-plated silver) surrounded by the vine and the ear of wheat on a textured background. This medal was traditionally offered to celebrate the 1st communion.
Engraving on the reverse: the initials HC and “May 21, 1908”.
Shuttle-shaped, it is bordered with stylized, openwork, symmetrical plant motifs.
A magnificent Parisian French work.
Boar's head hallmark on the front and master's mark on the reverse.
A new 45 cm silver curb chain is offered to accompany this jewel.
