Superb oval first communion medal in silver and vermeil (gold plated silver).
This traditional medal evokes the Eucharist through the representations of the chalice (the wine) and the host (the bread) surrounded by ears of wheat and a vine.
The chalice and the host are made of gold-plated silver.
No engraving on the reverse.
This medal was offered in the past on the occasion of First Communion.

Jewelry in very good condition, obviously hardly worn. The gold plating is in good condition. Some very small scratches and signs of use, some oxidation of the gold and silver.
