Figa in opalite and gold

Figa in 14kt gold (585 thousandths) and opalite (synthetic resin used as an imitation of opal).
The hallmark is difficult to read, the jewel was tested by touch as being in 750 thousandths gold.
The Mano fico is a piece of jewelry traditionally given to newborns as protection against the evil eye in some Latin countries.

Very good condition of the jewel.
Some small traces of oxidation and scratches on the gold parts and on the opalite (see photos) due to its past use.
